We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and eager to learn candidate at our Hingham location. Our ideal candidate has a passion for retail sales & visual merchandising with a can-do attitude!
Responsibilities:
Open and close on assigned work days; perform opening and closing tasks
Check out customers using our POS system; wrap up purchases and bag accordingly - this includes gift wrapping for gift purchases
Assisting customers with product questions & making recommendations to increase daily sales
Receive, unpack and ticket new inventory
Maintain a clean and organized storefront throughout the day
Help to maintain merchandising as it pertains to store standards and guidelines
Perform shift cleaning responsibilities; including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces and countertops and any other organizational projects that pop up
Take thorough notes and communicate back to store owner; this includes but is not limited to customer requests, shipments, visitors (ie landlord, sales reps), etc.
Proactively merchandise and backfill shelves; keep the store looking fresh
Requirements:
Retail/sales experience is a must
Availability: must be available for ~15 hrs a week, 2 Saturdays a month & major retail holidays (Christmas Eve, Mother's Day, 4th of July)

Stand and/or move around for extended periods of time
